Qualities of Urban Salon-Style Argentine Tango
Our classes will enable you to express yourself in graceful movements with an open and delicate close-embrace that engenders passion, playfulness, and flavor-added spontaneity.
We’ll show you the essence of dancing to energetic rhythms and those get-lost-in-the-moment slow melodies. Urban salon-style Argentine tango includes all of the basic tango steps with an emphasis on precision, smoothness, and elegant dance lines.
We have refined techniques, integrated personality in musicality, and the experiential background to make you feel connected to the music and your partner.

Classes
Beginner Level 1
This course will focus on fundamentals including techniques in walking, dancing to musicality, moving the axis, and learning about salon-style energy.
4-Week Series
Mondays 7 - 8 p.m Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24
$60 per person, $100 for couples
No partner required - Drop-ins welcome
Intermediate Level
We will concentrate on getting acquainted with salon-style movements, techniques, and embrace. For this, we will need to experience the importance of intention, connection, and the energy from the floor. We’ll hone in on modulation of musicality with emphasis on phrasing.
